It’s felt as if I’ve not had a lot of new work/content to post on here lately… and there’s been a reason for that. Start

You don’t have to be ready, you just have to start. My motivation this Monday comes to you in the form of a notepad I made for myself. Because I don’t know about you, but I’m often brimming with ideas, but I also often wait for everything to be ‘perfect’ before getting started, or showing you what I’m doing, or finishing things off. I don’t know when this elusive perfect moment is likely to happen … never most likely … so, i made a notebook giving myself a little reminder (/kick up the arse) to just get on with it. What do you do when this happens? If you have a better plan than making yourself a notepad with a flag in it -which is surely just a pretty form of procrastination after all – I’d love to know!

Believe in yourself

Did you know that the chance of you existing is pretty well non existent? The probability is 1 in 10 to the power of 2,695,000 (yes that’s right, a ten followed by 2,695,000 zeros) which means, by default, you really are pretty amazing. Now that we have established just how brilliant you are, I don’t think there’s much point in doubting yourself is there?

The amazing journey of an order

Since I made the new thank you order that I put in with all of my orders, I’ve had almost as many messages about the note as I have about the products I’ve sent out. Because of that, I thought the next thing I had to make was a similar picture for other small businesses – not a thank you note, but a picture showing the amazing journey of an order. And here it is! Courage is the key

Courage has many different guises; it might mean standing up in a room full of people to talk, speaking out for something you believe in, or following your heart. It can be a large gesture or something seemingly small. It could mean getting out of bed in the morning.
If you’re facing a situation where you feel like you need a little bit more courage, this is the perfect reminder to pin on your coat. I’ve uploaded this and the believe key to my website. It’s reaching that time of year where we’re starting to think about Christmas – whether it’s frantically prepping for fairs, shop and online sales, starting to see flurries of orders coming in ?, or writing lists of things to gift. .
Whatever the reason, a shop small badge is the perfect addition to your cardie to wave the small (but mighty) flag for the small (but mighty) businesses.
