I was stitching flags a few weeks ago, when I dreamt that I had also stitched some really tiny flag badges. This seemed like quite a good idea (which just goes to show that time resting is never wasted!) so I got sewing!
I decided to wear one for a few days to see how they stood up to wear and tear, so put one on my coat and promptly forgot it was there.
The findings of the wear and tear test resulted in a tweak to construction, but to my delight, also led to the observation that wearing a ‘you can’ badge can significantly improve the your quality of interaction with strangers!
I’ve attached them to cards, so they can be gifted (but to my mind there’s really nothing wrong with treating your favourite coat ?)
